Guess what ViDoBounce users ? We just launched a photostream for ViDoBounce users. Now ViDoBounce users can share any picture they take on ViDoBounce’s photostream. Others can also go on and view the latest pictures shared and rate them.

We also overhauled the snapshot button to take better pictures and capture more fun experiences.

Hey ViDoBouncers,

It has been a very fun year with you guys. After releasing ViDoBounce in May, we have risen up to having 10,000 active users now and since September we have been releasing week after week of new updates and changes to the website for the launch of ViDoBounce 2.0 .

We thank you guys for joining the ride and we promise you guys much and much more things for the future, we are still just starting.

We’ll just take a few lines to go over the new things we released in the last months.

We started off by changing the UI to make it much more user friendly and easier to meet new people, call your friends, chat, send messages or check your notifications.

We improved the video quality and the video calling feature as well as the im chatting.

We launched ViDoBounce kickbacks, a brand new feature which allows you to start easy group video chats which you can share with your friends on facebook, twitter or over the web. They then join you in the kickback even if they aren’t a user of ViDoBounce. You can host kickbacks with up to 10 people !

Overhauled the snapshot button and built a ViDoBounce photostream where you can share the pictures you took on ViDoBounce and view other users pictures.

Overhauled the friend list, to make it easier to sort your friends, view who are online and not as well as stay in contact with them.

Great right ?! Don’t worry, that’s not all. They are much more features coming up in the next few weeks that will be awesome. We also now have a 10,000 large user community. We are really happy of the response you guys have given us and we will keep giving you cool things on ViDoBounce, our promise.

Hey guys,

As you may have been noticing we are going through changes at ViDoBounce. We are releasing new features each week in time for the release of ViDoBounce 2.0 . We started a new feature last week called ViDoBounce kickbacks which allows you to start very easy group video chats which you can copy the link and give to friends or post it to facebook or twitter and wait for your friends to join your kickback (They don’t even need to be users !) . Its really fun and it allows you hang out and kick it with friends online.

We are also releasing more and more features in the upcoming week which we will super fun. To help you all with these changes we launched a new landing page and help page to guide you through the new changes.

Well while ViDoBouncing and meeting people have you ever been the person you always gets bounced on or the person who just tends to magnetize people to them ? Well we have noticed some trends on VIDoBounce of the categories of people who get bounced on less. Here we go

Celebrities

As a celebrity, it is pretty clear that almost no one except if they’re high, will bounce on you. Everyone wants to talk to a celebrity, so if you want to be the most sought person on ViDoBounce, just disguise into a celebrity. It will always work.

A group of girls

The next will be a group of girls. Nothing will grab the attention of people then falling on a good looking group of girls. They will always have the least bounce average of the group of normal people.

A person in a crazy costume

Batman, Super Obama, monsters, big foot are a couple of the costumes people have seen over video chatting programs and on ViDoBounce will always be one of the favorites. Nothing is more fun and cool than to talk to a superhero right !

   4.   A pair of guy and girl

Now a girl and guy combination will always be the dream team especially if their just friends. They can appeal to almost any type of people using ViDoBounce and they always tend to be fun. So if you’re a guy and want to have a greater experience meeting people on ViDoBounce, a girl with you will bring a new type of fun.

A lone Girl

A single girl is always an attraction to a lot of bouncers. With a lot of people meet people they can flirt with, a single girl will always be a top choice. However most girls on ViDoBounce alone are more likely to bounce on you if they just slightly freaked out. So proceed with caution.

An elderly person

They are the most unexpected crowd and get bounced on a lot due to generation difference but tis always cool to meet and connect with an elder person. There are a few tricks you can learn and they will always have a good story or two. Now what about an elderly person and a younger person combination. That will be fun.

The lone guy

Now this is sadly the most bounced upon population on ViDoBounce. They are however the most eagerly and most active population. Many of the other groups are cautious of the creep alert (Which they shouldn’t…) and tend to bounce on the lone guy a lot. So if your in this group you’ll have 10 seconds to lower your partner’s caution.

*Note To avoid coming off as creepy, please don’t be in the dark. (It’s pretty creepy)

Bonus

You could just be a dog or a cat. That may just be the trick !

Now there you have it, the list of the people who get bounced the most from least to most. However we would like to see a change in this, with maybe elderly people and the lone guys getting less bounce on then maybe a group of girls (Haahh !)  But well that’s up to you bouncers !

Now how many of you sit back one day and are tired with your way of life. It has become too monotonous: you do the same things every day, have the same friends or go to the same places all the time. You know; your stuck back up in the middle of nowhere in Indiana and your just watch your life and time fly by. Like many people, you want to travel go and visit the world to experience new cultures different faces and a new thrill.

You always hear it, “I love traveling “, “Traveling is the best thing” or “I went to Paris and London this summer, it was amazing !” and you say to yourself, “Man, I wished I had money” Yeah we all know how it is, if we had the money, we would all been on flights going from on pole of the world to the other. You will be able to say that you played soccer on the beaches of Rio or hiked the Mount Everest but like the 60% of Americans well, you stay in your spot and enjoy what cable tv can show you.

Now with the internet, social networking, video chat and more, it easier to connect with people you know in other countries you happened to visit before. So something that 20 years ago, you had to write a letter and post to your friend to wait 3 weeks later for a reply, 10 years ago you could send them an email and wait for the response in a matter of minutes. Today though you could just log on facebook and chat with them or get on skype to video call them and connect more with them. That’s how internet is progressing and that’s pretty cool as we know. However wouldn’t it be cool if we could instead of needing to even travel, we could just sit back in our chair and meet numerous people from all the countries of the globe, from any country of your choice like you were booking on expedia and just start meeting people from there to share cultures, get to know new people and connect with them even learning new languages. Yeah that will be pretty fun. You could just sit back and say, I want to meet an Australian today and just get to meet and video chat with an Australian. You could decide today you want to learn Serbian and by a click start learning Serbian 101 from someone you just meet in Serbian. How cool !

Its very clear that today’s technology is closed to giving us that experience and it won’t be too long before you fully do what is mentioned above. Today with Facebook, you can chat and view the photos of your friends from anyone country of the world. Other social networks like myspace or myyearbook allows you to browse for people in a location you please. However they would have to accept you and it will be weird to just start up a conversation with someone you randomly added. Another new way which might well be the way of the future of connecting new and old friends is the random pairing video chat websites. You log in and start meet random people from any part of the globe with whom you will have to start a connection with. Its pretty fun and cool to try but it has a huge potential behind them. Most of them don’t allow you to add people you just met or filter the location or the interest of the people but with a little time (one year in technology is a very long time) better and better live video social networks will be better and better for a greater experience.

That takes me to one of the few and most prominent live video social network, ViDoBounce. Its one of these video websites that allows you to meet people randomly but they include filters which allow you to choose a country from which you would like to meet people from as well as filters to meet people from your region or from a college of your choice. Included to that you can add anyone you met to a friend list which allows you to skype them whenever. That gives it a whole new perspective as you can meet people from your college to meet and flirt with people on campus. You could also meet people future classmates and connect with them. Also as we have been saying in the article on the way of experiencing new cultures, to a good degree with this website you can choose a certain country and meet and connect with the people you just meet and video call them whenever. Thats a pretty good concept.

So as stated, technology isn’t far from offering us the experience of meeting people live and connect with those people live from anywhere we choose. Dating websites first came out and allowed people to search love on the internet. Then social networks came and allow people connect and keep in touch with their friends over the internet. So its safe to say we won’t be waiting too long before we can meet and connect with friends and other people live over the internet.
